Article I - Legislative Branch

States that the congress makes the laws for the united states. The congress has two parts the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Article II - Executive Branch

States that the president, vice president,and cabinet carry out the laws made by the congress. The congress has the power to in force laws.
Article III - Judicial Branch

States that the supreme court decides court cases. The courts under the supreme court decides the criminal and civil court cases according to the law.
Article IV - States' powers

States that the states have the power to make and carry out their own laws. state laws that are related to the people and issues in the state. States must respect other state laws and work together with other states to fix problems.
Article V - Amendments

States that the constitution can be changed and new amendments can be added to the us constitution. But they must be approved by either the states or approval by each house of congress.
Article VI - Federal powers

States that constitution and federal laws are higher than state and local laws. All the laws must agree with the U.S. Constitution.
Article VII - Ratification

States the constitution must be approved by 9 out of the 13 states. Representatives from 12 out of 13 states approved and signed the constitution.
